On 18 April 2023, Ambassador LI Chenggang and EU Ambassador to the WTO João Aguiar Machado signed the Agreement on the Modification of EU's Schedule on TRQ Post-Brexit.

The signing of the Agreement not only marks a successful conclusion to more than four years of negotiations, but also helps to develop mutually beneficial and win-win bilateral economic and trade relations between China and the EU.
