The moratorium and the Work Programme have been the cornerstones of digital trade and e-commerce for nearly three decades. However, challenges regarding unbalanced and non-inclusive development persist. MC14 should deliver a package to further advance work in a comprehensive and balanced way.

We thank the Minister Facilitator for the timely circulation of the draft text, which we support in principle as a basis for achieving an MC14 outcome. China would like to reiterate our support for establishing a Committee on Digital Trade, a stronger development dimension, and a longer extension. On this basis, we call on all members to reach a consensus promptly to secure this deliverable.
